Safe Foods for Guinea Pigs

Your Guinea pig's daily diet should consist of fresh water, pellet food, and grass hay (such as Timothy or Sweet Meadow hay). Below you will find a list of foods that are safe to feed your Guinea pig, no more than 1 cup per serving.

Daily:

Bell Peppers*     

    -Green/Yellow, no seeds!             

Boston Lettuce                                                                      

Butterhead Lettuce                                                               

Cilantro (1/4 cup)

Cucumber Slices

Radicchio                                                                     

Red Leaf Lettuce  

Romain Lettuce

Swiss Chard

NEVER FEED: Iceberg lettuce, potato, sweet potato including any part of the plant, tomato leaves/stems, rhubarb, fruit cores/pits/seeds, beans.

    -NO leaves or stems!
